Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

analyse Stage 6 PDHPE and Community and Family Studies syllabus requirements and explain their implications for senior-school teaching programs

evaluate and defend approaches to planning in-depth studies and teaching programs for Stage 6 PDHPE and the Community and Family Studies syllabuses

design and justify Stage 6 PDHPE lessons, assessments and resources that integrate digital technologies, literacy and numeracy to support disciplinary depth and senior-school learning demands

evaluate and defend approaches to planning in-depth studies and teaching programs for Stage 6 PDHPE and the Community and Family Studies syllabuses
