Challenges students to reimagine the diversity of disruptive agencies including cultural, political, social and technological structures that impact hospitality organisations through models and frameworks for innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.

Unit content

There are 6 modules in this unit:

1.   Introduction to the disruptive landscape
2.   Sources, patterns and modes of disruption
3.   Hospitality disruption – internal and external stakeholders
4.   Innovation: sources of improvement and responses to disruption
5.   Innovative responses to disruptors within hospitality organisations
6.   The future of disruption and Innovation global hospitality

Learning outcomes

demonstrate the ability to develop an innovative response to disruption

demonstrate the ability to reflect upon the challenges of implementing an innovative response to disruption in global hospitality.
