Unit Snapshot

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

formulate and justify procurement strategies that align with project delivery models, legal frameworks, and stakeholder objectives across diverse construction contexts.

evaluate tendering processes to support transparent and commercially sound contractor selection.

critically analyse procurement case studies to assess risk allocation, governance structures, and performance outcomes under different contractual arrangements.

integrate and communicate, within a team setting, the procurement and tendering data to support decision-making, contract administration and continuous improvement in construction project delivery.
