Scholarships

A number of special admission schemes and scholarships are available. You should check these to see if you are eligible to apply:

For commencing students

Rising Stars program (Vice-Chancellor's & donor-funded Scholarships) Applications for these scholarships are now open and close on 21 November 2008.

Please note that if you have already applied for the Southern Cross University STAR entry scheme, you do not need to complete another application form for these scholarships.

Mick Young Scholarships Trust Scholarships 2008: Applications open on 7 November 2008. These scholarships are open to students studying on the Tweed Gold Coast Campus only and aim to support financially disadvantaged students.

For commencing and continuing students

Undergraduate Equity Scholarships Applications for 2009 are now open and are made online only via the UAC website.

For continuing students only

Norco Third Year Accounting Scholarship 2008 Applications for the 2009 Norco Third Year Accounting Scholarship open on 20 October 2008 and close on 21 November 2008.

Honours Scholarships Applications for 2009 Honours Scholarships open on 20 October 2008 and close on 21 November 2008. Successful applicants will be notified by mid-February 2009.

External Scholarships

THE-ICE/School of Tourism & Hospitality Management Master of International Tourism & Hotel Management Scholarship (value AU$10,000). The Scholarship is for a 12 unit 1 year Masters program to be studied at the Tweed Gold Coast Campus in Trimester 1, 2009. Applications close 29th August 2008.

The NSW Department of Education and Training's Teacher Education Scholarship Program. Applications close on 10 October 2008.
