The Quinn Law Group Criminal Law Scholarship

The Quinn Law Group Criminal Law Scholarship has been established to support high-achieving law students at Southern Cross University with a demonstrated passion for criminal law.

This scholarship aims to assist students who show strong academic ability in criminal law–related units and a clear interest in interpreting and applying criminal legislation in practice. Quinn Law Group is a Gold Coast–based full-service law firm with expertise across criminal, administrative, commercial litigation and family law, and a strong commitment to supporting emerging legal professionals in the region.

How to apply

  1. Current enrolment in a Bachelor of Laws at Southern Cross University (second year or above), Gold Coast, Lismore, or Online. 
  2. Evidence of strong academic performance in relevant Criminal Law units.
  3. Enrolment in 2026 on a full-time basis (72 credit points).

Selection will be based on:

  1. Demonstrated passion for criminal law, including the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation as displayed in the introductory statement of the Scholarship Application form, 
  2. Evidence of strong academic performance in relevant Criminal Law units as shown in the Southern Cross University student history.
