Northern Rivers Customer-Owned Banking Scholarship

Applicants applying for this scholarship must:

1. Be Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents including Permanent Humanitarian Visa holders.
2. Qualify for admission and be enrolled full-time (on-campus or online) in the Bachelor of Business and Enterprise at Southern Cross University.
3. Be commencing the first year of their degree to be eligible to apply.
4. Applicants must have resided in an area that was affected by the 2022 Northern NSW floods. The corresponding postcodes are 2480, 2470, 2471, 2472, 2477, 2478, 2484, 2482, 2483, 2485, 2486, 2487, and 2488.
5. Individuals who have moved from a flood-affected town to study at another Southern Cross campus are eligible to apply, provided that they were residents of the specified postcode/s during the 2022 floods.

Selection will be based on:

1. An assessment of the personal introductory statement (consisting of 100–200 words) explaining motivation for applying for the scholarship and aspirations for the future upon completing the Bachelor of Business and Enterprise degree.
