Unit description

Integrates knowledge and skills in clinical sciences, naturopathic therapeutics, interdisciplinary care and clinical reasoning in order to safely and effectively assess, diagnose, plan, treat and review multimorbid clinical cases, in diverse clinical settings, within the scope of contemporary naturopathic medicine practice.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
1illustrate complex herb-drug-nutrient interactions
2integrate clinical sciences, appropriate therapeutic applications and interdisciplinary care in multi-morbidity cases
3relate different models of care and scope of practice within specialised healthcare settings
4apply clinical reasoning to a multi-morbidity clinical case in a specialised setting

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
