Unit Snapshot

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

constructively critique their own work, and the work of peers in group and individual situations

practice and reflect on occupational health and safety in the studio, when collaborating with others and within their own personal studio space

develop abilities to recognise the importance of cultural contexts in which artefacts are produced

demonstrate an awareness of a range of installation methods and techniques that are relevant to creative visual practice.
