Unit description

Equips students with basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms for solving computational problems. Students will learn data structures such as arrays, lists, queues and stacks and several search and sort algorithms including binary search, quick sort and merge sort. Students also learn to evaluate the complexity of an algorithm and how to improve an algorithm efficiency and clarity.

Learning outcomes
