These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
analyse and synthesise evidence of the learning needs of students with disability to evaluate and justify adjustments that support access, participation and belonging on the same basis as other students
interpret legislative requirements and implement teaching strategies that support participation and engagement for students with disability in classroom and school contexts
apply teaching strategies, including differentiation and reasonable adjustments, to design and implement inclusive learning experiences that respond to diverse learner needs and support participation and engagement
engage in collaborative practice with professionals, parents/carers and community to plan, implement and review inclusive strategies that support participation and learning for students with disability
