Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

evaluate and reflect upon the scientific literature concerning best practices for training adaptations in developing a training or intervention plan

examine and apply considerations in training or intervention design for performance related to acute/chronic adaptations, fatigue, population differences, and novel training methodologies

design, prepare, and present a scientifically sound training or intervention plan that considers all aspects of performance
