Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
evaluate and communicate, in a team setting, project management methodologies and frameworks used in construction contexts, with reference to scope, time, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder management principles.
apply project planning tools and techniques, including collaboration, to develop integrated construction project plans that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
analyse the roles, responsibilities, and communication strategies of project stakeholders to enhance collaboration, leadership, and decision-making across multidisciplinary construction teams.
examine risk mitigation strategies and contract administration procedures that align with legal, ethical, indigenous perspectives, and sustainability considerations in construction project delivery.
