Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

appraise own cultural identity and explain the influence of culture, language and social background on the experience of the client

critically analyse and interpret the nature of the communication and swallowing disorder

formulate recommendations based on appraisal of evidence, assessment data and integration of client cultural and social factors

critique own professional strengths and limitations to support identification of learning needs and ability to plan professional development
