Course progression is the recommended order to study your course's units (subjects). These are located on your course page under the ‘Course Structure’ section.

Eligibility for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) and a HECS-HELP loan depends on your course and personal circumstances. Most domestic undergraduate courses and some postgraduate courses at Southern Cross University are offered as Commonwealth Supported Places.

To access a HECS-HELP loan, you must be enrolled in a Commonwealth Supported Place and meet the Australian Government's eligibility requirements.

To check whether your course is offered as a Commonwealth Supported Place, search for your course on the SCU Course Search and review the Fees and Scholarships information. You can also find detailed eligibility information on the StudyAssist website.

If you are unsure about your eligibility based on your citizenship or residency status, please email fees@scu.edu.au and include proof of your citizenship or residency status for assistance.

Eligibility for credit for prior study or experience depends on your previous qualifications, work experience and the course you are applying for. Southern Cross University cannot pre-assess eligibility for credit before an application is submitted.

To apply for credit, submit an application and include any supporting documents relevant to your prior study or experience. Once your application has been assessed, you will be advised of the outcome.

The census date is the final day you can withdraw from a unit without academic or financial penalty. It is also the date on which your enrolment in a unit is considered finalised. For international students, census date is the final day you can withdraw from a unit without academic penalty and only incur at 50% fee penalty, see unit withdrawal impacts for more information.

If you have received advanced standing and are unsure which units to enrol in, please contact our Client Services Team on 1800 SC HELP / 1800 724 357 for assistance.

The team can provide personalised course progression advice based on the credit you have been granted and will help you select the correct units to enrol in.

If you cannot access MyEnrolment, select the "Forgot Password" option on the login page and follow the prompts to create or reset your password. Once your password has been reset, you can log in using your student ID and password.

If you have a USI sanction on your account and are unable to enrol, please contact our Client Services Team on 1800 SC HELP / 1800 72 4357 for assistance.

The team can provide you with details of the sanction and advise you on the steps required to resolve it.

If you would like to defer your offer, please email defer@scu.edu.au.

Your request will be assessed and, if approved, your studies will be deferred to the next available intake.

If you would like to accept a previously deferred offer, please email admissions@scu.edu.au.
