Unit description
An examination of change within health, social and community care settings. Enables participants to evaluate, examine and critically reflect on leadership knowledge and apply those capabilities to leading innovation within health, social and community care settings. Participants use a fusion of evidenced based approaches, intra-personal and inter-personal capabilities to evaluate innovative practices within their continually changing workplace.

- Strategic policy and the implementation of innovation
- Leading change and leadership models
- Leadership theories and capabilities in leading innovative healthcare change
- Psychological constructs influencing implementation of innovation
- Applying principles of evidence and evaluation to support innovative change within health, social and community settings
Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit.
