Enrolment information
This unit includes 2 full day residentials for students enrolled at the Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour campuses. Online students are strongly encouraged to attend the residentials in person for a more immersive experience. The residentials will be held as two consecutive days. Students to provide own lunch/drink and accommodation arrangements, if required.
Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explain the interrelationship of critical thinking, creativity and the arts to each other and to society
develop and analyse knowledge and skills across the creative arts through the creation, analysis and reflection on artistic work across various art forms
demonstrate personal competency and development in the arts and skills in personal, academic and arts literacies
develop and use skills in technology and media to present information and communicate with others through the creation and presentation of multimodal artistic work using digital tools and formats to communicate ideas effectively
