analyse key historical philosophies and figures that have shaped early childhood education, including their influence on contemporary pedagogical practices

evaluate the impact of social, cultural, and political contexts on the development of early childhood education systems across different time periods and regions

compare diverse approaches to early childhood education, including Indigenous knowledge systems and international models, to understand their historical significance and ongoing relevance
