Commencing Student Scholarships
Southern Cross University offers a range of scholarships to support students in their studies. The various categories of scholarships are designed to not only recognise academic excellence but also contribute to and encourage student success and support disadvantaged students undertaking our courses.
Early Round Scholarships (offered with STAR Entry Scheme)
Early round scholarships are only available to Year 12 school leavers within the feeder region. Student must apply for and receive offers of admission via the STAR Entry Scheme.

Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships
Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships are available to the top male and top female ATAR/OP per campus.

How to Apply
- Students must have a 1st preference for SCU via UAC or QTAC by close of preference dates for the main rounds of admission.
- The students achieving the highest ATAR or OP and commencing a course in 2013 will be shortlisted and offered accordingly.

Main Round Scholarships (offered after main UAC and QTAC admission rounds)
Main Round Scholarships are available to any commencing student (except where criteria has indicated Year 12 only). Scholarships will be offered after the UAC and QTAC main admission rounds.

- Main Round Scholarship offers made from February 11, 2013.
- If suitable candidates are not identified then there will be late round scholarship offers.
- Shortlisting for late round from February 4, 2013 – February 11, 2013 with offers made from February 11, 2013.
