BUSN2001 - Professional Development for the Workplace AND 180 (equivalent of 15 units) towards your degree.

Enrolment information

This is a double-weighted, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) unit, requiring a minimum of 200 hours plus associated study. Depending on enrolment location, the following options may be available: Internship Option: Placement must align with your degree/specialisation and be approved by the Unit Assessor, and an Internship Placement Form must be submitted and approved PRIOR to commencing the placement. Industry Project Option: Relevant projects will be assigned at the start of the term. Enquiries: Contact the Professional Experience Coordinator at wil@scu.edu.au.

Unit description

Offers students practical, work-based experience through discipline-specific internship placements, industry projects, consultancies, or service learning opportunities. In this double-weighted Work Integrated Learning (WIL) unit, students gain the opportunity to apply concepts and principles from their discipline to the work environment, while reflecting on their personal and professional growth. Additionally, this unit aims to cultivate future-focused global citizens, preparing students to thrive in an interconnected, dynamic and sustainable world.

Learning outcomes
