Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

critically appraise and synthesise evidence to inform project design and implementation, addressing sustainability and/or cultural responsiveness

design and justify a research-informed project plan in collaboration with an external partner, demonstrating leadership, ethical decision-making, and alignment with contemporary occupational therapy principles

implement and evaluate project strategies using occupational therapy professional reasoning and evidence-informed approaches

communicate project outcomes effectively through high-quality written and verbal formats tailored to both specialist and non-specialist audiences

reflect on own individual autonomy and leadership in planning and executing an occupational therapy industry-partnered project, identifying implications for future professional development
