As at 24^th August 2009, Southern Cross University has entered into an agreement with leading student accommodation specialist Campus Living Villages (CLV) for the ongoing management, refurbishment and expansion of its on‑campus student accommodation in Lismore and Coffs Harbour. The colleges will retain their current individual names of Orion, Magellan and Sirius colleges in Lismore and Carina College in Coffs Harbour; collectively known as SCU Village.

UniLife staff will continue to manage the off-campus accommodation service.
