Student Representation Committee

The Student Representation Committee (SRC) is concerned with the improvement of the student experience for all students at Southern Cross University across all campuses and partner provider locations (within Australia) and students studying online or via distance education. It recommends to the Vice Chancellor how SSAF funds should be allocated. The term of the SRC membership runs for two years.

CoastRs is your Gold Coast Student Association run by students for students. We aim to deliver equitable services to all students, internal and external by implementing funds in student facilities and services focusing on Engagement, Advocacy and Welfare. Our membership is $1 annually and all students are welcome to join.

LEXSA (Lismore and External Students Association)

LEXSA is an association run by students for students. Academic attainment is important but it is just one element of a university career. At LEXSA we feel strongly that academic attainment must be balanced with social engagement and service. Our vision at LEXSA is to provide students with support on services, student welfare with a holistic approach to the university experience at SCU.

Coffs Harbour Students Association

The mandate of the Coffs Harbour Students Association is to provide a quality university experience for all its student members - those studying on campus, external, residential, international, mature age, and those students with children, or who are disabled or impoverished. It provides a varied range of social, sporting, welfare and cultural events and activities, offering products and services at greatly subsidised rates, and helping students who have a problem or issue through active representation between its members and other student organisations within the University, the SCU administration and the regional community.

Southern Cross Postgraduate Association

Southern Cross Postgraduate Association (SCPA) advances and oversees the interests of postgraduate students at Southern Cross University campuses. The Association is responsible for liaising with University authorities, organising professional and social functions, providing facilities and services, and identifying educational and other needs of postgraduate students. The SCPA has a Blackboard site with information and resources for all postgraduate students. The SCU Postgraduate Student Site should appear under your ‘My Information and Workgroups Sites’ when you login to MySCU.
