Study Contemporary Music

Do you dream of performing your music at Splendour in the Grass, Byron Bay Bluesfest, Mullum Music Festival or Falls Festival?

Want to experiment with your laptop, your voice, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards (or any other instrument), with other like-minded creatives?  Are you a songwriter who needs access to state-of-the art recording and production facilities? Do you aspire to teach music and nurture the passion of young students in schools or establish your own teaching studio?

The Bachelor of Contemporary Music is offered at the Lismore campus (near Byron Bay) and at Coomera (Gold Coast). This degree has its origins in the heart of one the most creative regions in Australia, which has long been a place that national and international artists call home. It is a destination for artists who perform at major festivals and to record at some of the most iconic studios located in the region.

You can also choose to study Contemporary Music as a shared major in the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business and Enterprise or in the Bachelor of Psychological Science.
