Tuition fees are in Australian dollars, and are subject to change, including annual increases over the duration of a course. Annual tuition fee is based on completing 8 units per year. In addition students are required to pay OSHC for the duration of their visa in advance. Non-tuition fee covers textbooks, stationery and excursions. |

Students may be eligible to exit with an Associate Degree of Digital Media after completing the equivalent of 16 units (192 credit points), comprising 16 core units as per the Schedule of Units.
Students may be eligible to exit with a Diploma of Digital Media after completing the equivalent of 8 units (96 credit points), comprising 8 core units as per the Schedule of Units.

Assessment tasks include creative projects such as websites and graphic design, TV productions and music videos, news and magazine articles, animations, podcasts, as well as essays, articles, journals and tutorial presentations.
Teaching methods include lectures, tutorials, seminars, field trips and online forums, plus individual access to facilities for special projects and one-on-one research supervision. All units in the Bachelor of Digital Media have online learning materials and utilise audiovisual technologies such as streaming audio and video, podcasts and online lectures, and social media technologies.
On campus students gain access to a variety of industry-standard equipment including computers, cameras, microphones, sound mixers, and lighting equipment.

Digital media specialists are in strong demand in media and creative industries with career opportunities in film and TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, online media and graphic design, marketing, advertising and public relations.
This course includes a compulsory 100-hour professional placement that allows you to gain invaluable workplace experience across the media and communications spectrum: at radio or television stations, in newspapers and publishing houses, on film shoots, at film festivals or in graphic design or post-production companies.
