How to get your Student ID Card
How to get your Student ID Card
Southern Cross University issues Student ID Cards to all students. The card remains valid while you are a student and should be carried with you whenever you are on campus.
You must read the terms and conditions of Student ID Card use before you submit a request for your Student ID Card.
See Getting to and around campus for information about travel concessions.
You need a Student ID Card to:
- Borrow from the Library
- Attend examinations
- Access computer labs and other approved University buildings after-hours
- Use the student printers at Lismore, Gold Coast, and National Marine Science Centre campuses.
You must also read the Printing and Copying Services Terms and Conditions before you use the printing facilities and the Using the Library rules before using the Library. See also the Photo ID Card — Terms and Conditions of Use.
Requesting a Student ID Card
In person
If you are on our Coffs Harbour, Gold Coast or Lismore campuses, you can request a Student ID card by visiting Client Services at the Student Centre or Hub.
You will need to show photo ID (e.g. driver’s licence or passport) and you will be required to have your photo taken. Photos must comply with the Australian Passport Office guidelines.
Online
Complete the Student ID Card Request Form through My Enrolment. You will need to upload a recent passport style photo and a copy of your photo ID (e.g. driver’s licence or passport). Your ID card will be processed within three business days and we will advise you when your card is ready to collect or has been posted to your contact address.
Photos must comply with the Australian Passport Office guidelines.
For female students who wear head coverings for religious reasons, head coverings must not obstruct view from the bottom of the chin to the top of the forehead and both edges of the face must be shown.
