I am passionate about understanding the motion of water in the ocean and on land and how it impacts structures and the environment. Specifically, I'm interested in answering questions related to fundamental fluid mechanics in the wake flow, flow/structure interaction in the renewable industries, and hydraulic engineering for the environment. Through my research, I hope to contribute to the development of sustainable solutions in these areas.

I have had the privilege of working in both academia and industry, including with the Government of Western Australia and the University of Western Australia. Some of my most exciting research experiences have come from working in interdisciplinary teams on tangible and fundamental research, with funding from organizations including ARC and industry partners.

In my work, I am passionate about learning and sharing through collaborative research and teaching, working towards the best solutions with colleagues and students. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two curious children, reading and playing. They often inspire me to keep exploring.
