Lead researcher for the National Pleasure Audit (Australia), a research project aimed at providing a snapshot of the nature and extent of Australians’ pleasures.

Principal supervisor of a number of current HDR students looking at topics including: the effect of emotional intelligence training for junior and senior surgeons, the wellbeing of older adults aging in place, and the experience of rehabilitation and education programs for people with hearing loss and their significant others.


Currently leading curriculum renewal for the Bachelor of Psychological Science.

Wrote and developed the Masters level unit 'Social and emotional competence in the workplace' with a focus on developing emotional intelligence for tomorrow's leaders in healthcare.
