Biography
Dr. Nasim Salehi has started her work in health-related areas in 2004, including healthcare leadership and health promotion (teaching, research, and practice). She has been involved in multidisciplinary research projects, focusing on providing advanced models of care through improved health and wellbeing (particularly prevention and health promotion), reducing disparities for disadvantaged and vulnerable groups, and increasing efficiency and cost-effectiveness of services. She undertook a diverse range of managerial roles within different teaching hospitals, assisted with developing hospital strategies and policies; implementing new procedures/technologies; ensuring quality delivery of healthcare services; budget planning; and workforce management. Her main research projects are focused on Holistic health; Family-inclusive models; Digital health, particularly in the social aspect of health; Online education; Young individuals as agents of change; and Effective and efficient care provision.
