Kristie is an Aboriginal early career academic and practising counsellor and psychotherapist, with extensive experience in community mental health. Her work is grounded in relational worldviews, and she has particular expertise in supporting individuals from diverse cultural and social contexts. As a Lecturer in Counselling, Kristie creates enriched learning environments that emphasis applied skills, critical self-reflection, professional identity development, and student empowerment. Her research interests are centred on Cooperative Inquiry approaches and the development of Culturally Regenerative Universities.
