Michelle Metanoia is currently appointed as a Technology Facilitator at Southern Cross University and brings both extensive international experience and a deep commitment to education to the university. Her career over the last +5 years has largely revolved around enhancing academics' proficiency in diverse teaching technologies along with contributing to university-wide initiatives to improve student experiences online.

Originally from Denmark, Michelle's global educational journey began at the University of South Denmark, where she studied for her undergraduate degree in Education and Technology whilst working at the university supporting the first online undergraduate programme in the country. She continued her academic pursuits at Aarhus University, studying a postgraduate programme in Anthropology of Education and Globalisation. Concurrently, she served as a Student Educational Consultant at the University of Copenhagen, providing technical and educational expertise.

Michelle's passion lies in promoting equal educational opportunities, exploring Higher Education's role in Sustainability/Sustainable Development, and advocating for wellbeing in Tertiary Education both for students and staff. Her comprehensive background reflects a dedication to educational excellence and innovation.
