I am an emerging health academic with a strong focus on implementation science and cardiac surgical research. My career vision aligns with the SCU Academic Framework through a commitment to applied, collaborative research that improves healthcare quality, safety, and outcomes at local, national, and international levels.

Research
My research programme centres on implementation science, observational research, and co design to translate evidence into cardiac surgical and nursing practice. I work collaboratively with clinicians, patients, and health services to generate impactful, practice ready research aligned with SCU priorities for research excellence, engagement, and real world impact.
Teaching
I am committed to high quality, research informed teaching and supervision that builds research capability among nursing students and early career researchers. My teaching supports SCU graduate attributes by fostering critical thinking, research literacy, and evidence informed practice within contemporary healthcare and community settings.
Other
I contribute to academic service, mentorship, and collegial leadership to strengthen research culture and capacity within the University. Through collaboration, supervision, and engagement activities, I support SCU’s mission to develop a sustainable, inclusive, and impactful academic and research community.
