Biography
Philip Saagyum Dare is a researcher in the Faculty of Education. His work explores the intersections of educational leadership, culture, and social justice, with a focus on re-imagining leadership in early childhood and basic education through Freirean critical pedagogy. His PhD, Context within Context: Towards a New Understanding of Headteacher Leadership Enactment in Ghana’s Early Childhood Education, advances a relational and context-responsive understanding of leadership in the Global South.
