Biography
Tyson Perrin's academic background stems from a sessional lecturer position in the Faculty of Health (FoH) School of Nursing and Midwifery (SoNM) at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) with a decade of clinical background in Neurosurgical Intensive Care Nursing at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH). This year, Ty is moving into a SCU UA Role for Nursing Practices 1 – NURS2017 for SCU Bachelor of Nursing in addition to Clinical Nursing 1 – NURS5014 for SCU Master of Nursing program.
Teaching
As the Lecturer – Faculty of Health (Nursing), Ty actively contributes to the Faculty through student-centred teaching practice and development in the nursing discipline area. His role also contributes to the research and scholarship of the faculty's teaching profile through publications. Ty loves to assist in the transformational progression of nursing students through the journey of their studies.
Other
Ty is looking forward to both the commencement and completion of his PhD studies. He hopes to gain life-long connections with the networks affiliated with SCU. He is a proud member of the SCU Ally Network and an active member of the SCU Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity Committee.
