Research
Dr. Lippi’s research integrates animal health, agricultural sustainability, and environmental toxicology. Her PhD focused on the transcriptomic effects of lethal and sublethal doses of imidacloprid on Africanised Apis mellifera, highlighting the molecular impact of pesticides on pollinators. She worked as an invited researcher at the University of Queensland (UQ). She has published scientific articles in journals such as Science of the Total Environment, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Apidologie, and Animals, addressing topics like gene expression, pesticide toxicity, animal welfare, and sustainable livestock systems. Her research interests include molecular biology, ecotoxicology, honey bee and stingless bee health, animal welfare/behaviour and production, and the application of omics technologies in environmental assessments..
Teaching
Dr. Lippi has contributed to undergraduate teaching as a teaching assistant in several animal science and veterinary medicine courses in Brazil, including Apiculture, Animal Welfare, Swine and Chicken Farming. She has also led school-based environmental education programs, delivering lectures and interactive activities to raise awareness of pollinators and ecological sustainability among students and communities.
