Biography
Belinda is an Associate Professor in Early Childhood Education with a strong commitment to advocating for children’s rights from birth. Her work focuses on promoting equitable access to high-quality education and care for all young children. Belinda specialises in pre-service teacher education and teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate early childhood education programs.

Belinda actively engages in the nexus between educational research, professional practice, and policy. She has successfully secured competitive grant funding from government agencies, education bodies, and the early childhood sector to investigate a range of contemporary issues in early childhood education and care. Her research has resulted in published reports, peer-reviewed journal articles, and conference and professional presentations that support the dissemination of research findings to academic, policy, and practitioner audiences.

Supervision
Belinda supervises Higher Degree Research (HDR) students and welcomes inquiries from prospective candidates whose research aligns with her areas of specialisation.
Teaching
Belinda has extensive teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate Initial Teacher Education programs in early childhood education. Her teaching expertise includes child development, infant–toddler pedagogy, early childhood curriculum, and professional experience.
