Biography

Dr Owen Hogan is a Senior Lecturer in Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Southern Cross University. His research sits at the intersection of circular economy transitions, regenerative business models and applied innovation, with a strong focus on real-world impact. He works closely with industry, government, and international partners on projects spanning waste valorisation, bioeconomy innovation, and circular design. He has published across entrepreneurship, sustainability and higher education, secured competitive and industry-linked research funding, and is actively involved in curriculum innovation and industry-engaged teaching. Alongside academia, Owen brings extensive professional experience across the creative industries, agriculture and public sector contexts.
