Biography

Dr. Ghulam Qadir is a distinguished academic and professional in Civil and Architectural Engineering, with over a decade of experience in the construction industry and teaching at world-class institutions across three countries—Australia, the UAE, and Pakistan—including the University of Sydney and Southern Cross University. He holds a Ph.D. in Built Environment and an M.Sc. in Building Services Engineering, specializing in green buildings, sustainable infrastructure, and project management. Dr. Ghulam is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a LEED AP BD+C credential holder, and an Autodesk Revit Certified Professional.

Dr. Ghulam has been instrumental in developing innovative curricula, including courses on Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Sustainable construction practices, ensuring students are well-equipped for industry demands. His experience extends to leading research initiatives on Carbon-zero technologies and mentoring students in interdisciplinary projects that combine engineering with environmental sustainability. He is deeply committed to fostering a culture of innovation and critical thinking among his students.
