Dr Alvi has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals, including Energy Economics, Journal of Cleaner Production, Ecological Economics, Environmental Impact Assessment Review, and Cities. His research addresses pressing global challenges such as carbon emissions reduction, green finance, climate change adaptation, and sustainable economic development, providing evidence-based insights to inform policy and strategic decision-making. Dr Alvi also serves as an Associate Editor for Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, a Q1 journal in the Nature Portfolio, contributing to the advancement of scholarly discourse in his field.
