Biography

Dr. Sepideh Jahandideh (PhD, Griffith University) is a health informatics researcher and educator specialising in digital health, patient safety, and advanced data analytics. With over two decades of academic and professional experience, she has developed expertise in applying machine learning and evidence-based approaches to improve patient engagement, strengthen clinical decision-making, and optimise health system performance. Her work focuses on advancing data-driven, patient-centred healthcare and translating research into practical improvements in health services and outcomes.

Research

Dr. Sepideh Jahandideh’s research spans digital health, health services research, patient safety, and healthcare innovation. Her work draws on systematic reviews and empirical studies using large-scale health data, applying machine learning, advanced analytics, and mixed-method approaches to address complex healthcare problems and support evidence-informed practice and policy development.

Teaching

Sepideh has teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programs in health sciences, health services management, medicine, and related disciplines. She has delivered lectures, tutorials, and assessments in both online and in-person settings, and has contributed to curriculum design, student supervision, and the development of engaging, evidence-based learning materials.
