Dr Suzanne Infantino has been at Deakin University teaching early childhood science education to undergraduates and science pedagogy to Master of Teaching students. She has been a research assistant at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne. Suzanne is also a consultant editor with Edith Cowen University for the Australian Journal of Teacher Education. She has also been involved in various roles within the early childhood sector including the Department of Education as an authorised officer undertaking compliance checks and conducting assessment and ratings of early childhood education and care centres against the National Quality Framework, along with being an early childhood education consultant (domestically and internationally). Suzanne's PhD focused on educators intentional inclusion of science within the early childhood education environment and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).
